Although we typically feature a speaker with timely and informative job search-related topics at our meetings, the key value provided by Career Renewal is that we assign each job seeking participant with an experienced advisor. The advisor will "walk with" the participant throughout his/her job search and offer coaching tips and advice on the search process. Your advisor will be a friendly “voice on the phone” who can help you through the twists and turns of your job search process.

We assist individuals who have become unemployed or are re-entering the job market as well as those seeking employment for the first time. Assistance is provided without regard to gender, race, creed or national origin and is in no way restricted to members of our sponsoring parishes. There is no charge for our support.

We have found that many job seekers are at a loss as where to begin. Often, they feel that a great resume is the beginning, middle and end of the process. Our advisors are experienced in the job-search path and help guide participants on the step-by-step journey. They are proud to serve as coaches and sounding boards as they help on that journey.
If you are interested in participating in Career Renewal, we encourage you to explore this site and to attend one of our meetings, which are typically held at 10:15 AM on the third Sunday of every other month.

On September 18, 1986--over 36 years ago--Career Renewal Ministries was founded by a small group of concerned employed executives in order to share their journeys of layoff-to-reemployment and to provide support and assistance to others in similar circumstances. Their mission, then as now, was to help others work through the process of finding employment and renewing their careers.
We are still going strong today!!!!!
Career Renewal has approximately 25 regular and dedicated volunteer advisors who have helped over 1,000 people navigate the rough waters of unemployment. We have worked with men and women with 30 years of company experience, college students just starting their careers, and others in between. We have worked with people representing almost all professions. Our advisors have been through the transition process and offer empathy, guidance, and support to others.
